Friday night: Lesson learned: Always buy movie tickets in advance, even if you think no one will be seeing the movie you are going to see. Two separate movie times were sold out. Sweeney Todd was our runner up, but the theater was so crowded the only seats left next to each other were at the end of the front row - no thanks. We ended up in Walk Hard. Better than I thought, crazy cast, seemed like everyone was in it, wait for it to come out on video if you haven't already seen it. Awkward moments: Using the word 'ghetto' when sitting next to two women who looked as thought they could have been queens of one. Saturday: Dinner at Three of Cups (www.threeofcupsnyc.com, 83 1st Ave.) The food was good, especially the bruschetta, any problems with the meal were unrelated to the food and/or service (I'll save that for another day). Bar: Ace Bar (www.acebar.com, 531 E 5th Street) Pool tables, dart boards, pinball machines, but our favorite was the skee ball. You don't get any tickets, but once you start playing against opponents for the high score you don't care. Casual - jeans, tee shirts, I think I even saw one guy in his pajamas. Sunday: Giants football. If Coughlin gets a contract extension I'm going to be pissed. I'll give Eli credit, he look solid yesterday, and at one point I think I even saw a smile - nice to see that he finally showed up to play. They're going to get smoked in Dallas next week, but it was almost fun while it lasted.
